BUILDING PLANNING AND PREPARATION CONTINUE
Planning and preparation continue to move forward on the referendum project for the School District of Shiocton. Recent soil testing confirmed earlier reports that will help guide construction planning and ensure the project is built on a solid foundation.
Our design partners at Hoffman and 4Design recently led an initial interior design meeting. These conversations are important in making sure the final product reflects both function and pride for our district.
We are also working ahead to plan for the construction phase. This includes reviewing logistics such as office locations, student entrances, and parking. While some disruption is inevitable during construction, our goal is to minimize the impact on students, staff, and families.
Looking ahead, the first bid package will go out by the end of August. If all stays on track, groundbreaking could occur as early as October—slightly ahead of schedule.
Thank you to our community for your continued support as we take these important steps! We are committed to keeping you informed as the project progresses and to delivering on the promise of a stronger future for Shiocton students.
